Welcome to the JNP boudoir blog. So glad you're here.
I can trace my love of boudoir photography back to an image I found on Pinterest a few years ago. That image lead me to another photography blog and a whole world of boudoir storytelling that featured soft palettes, feminine textures, beautiful natural lighting, and of course lovely ladies celebrating their loveliness.
There are all kinds of boudoir photography styles, but many of us associate the term "boudoir" with overtly racy images. There's something for everyone out there, but my style focuses on creating classy, timeless images that whisper "sexy" instead of screaming it.
Boudoir is a beautiful gift. A gift for your significant other, perhaps. But especially a gift for yourself. The perfect time for boudoir photography is any time. Not just after you've lost those pounds, or achieved that tan, or snagged that man. Are sculpted bodies fun to photograph? Sure. But so are soft bodies. So are bodies that have borne children. My desire is for every woman to see herself through my eyes and through my lens. I don't change you. I just see you. And I do my best to help you see you, too.
