Sometimes good things just kind of fall in your lap. That's what happened to me with the beautiful new J. Noel Boudoir studio space. It fell in my lap!
One day, I was simply strolling along Main Street in downtown Buda, snapping some headshots for a sweet friend and client, when a nice lady approached me to share about the new event venue she managed and that we happened to be shooting in front of. The next thing I knew, we were inside being given the grand tour of a stunning old building constructed in 1917 and full of that most glorious and highly sought-after character and charm! I pined over the creaky wooden floors, the chipped and peeling paint on the time-worn walls, and the ascent up an old, steep staircase to a beautiful apartment of sorts above. My jaw practically hit the floor when I found this upstairs area to be completely furnished with delicious vintage goodness in a lovely seating area, kitchen and *GASP!* a gorgeous bedroom setup!
One thing lead to another, and today I find myself in a partnership with this beautiful old building and the creatives that fill it, and oh-so-happy to be here.
Buda, TX, contrary to what some may assume, is a very smooth 15 minute drive from downtown Austin, or about 30 minutes from North Austin. As you make the trip just out of town and meander along Main Street once you've arrived in Buda, you start to notice a palpable slowing-down of the pace, and almost something of a step back in time - a small-town feel with small-town charm. Stagecoach Park, active train tracks, antique stores and the cutest shops dot Main Street, and of course, the J. Noel Boudoir studio, just waiting to show you how utterly gorgeous you are. I cannot wait to create more and more beautiful memories for more and more beautiful ladies within these walls. Enjoy a little peek into the space, and contact me soon for your own boudoir experience!
(stay tuned in the next couple of days as we announce our upcoming Valentine's Day mini session event!) <3
Oh, and one more thing! I also felt it worth noting that, just two doors down from Carrington Crossing (where our new studio is located), is the MOST delightful coffeeshop, Summer Moon Wood-fired Coffee. I may have squealed with delight upon finding such an adorable little spot so close to the studio. If you wind up booked for a boudoir shoot with J. Noel, I highly recommend stopping for a treat here, and maybe do a little antiquing while you're in the area, too! :)
